How the JSON is laid out

  • An array of objects becomes a table: one row per object.
  • Nested objects become columns with dotted names, for example user.name.
  • Lists of values are joined into one cell ("a, b, c").
  • An object holding several arrays becomes one sheet per array.

What if my JSON is invalid?

You will see where it breaks. JSON copied from code often has trailing commas or single quotes - fix those and try again.
