How to use it
Choose the PDF. Every page is checked on your device and the risks are listed from most to least serious.
Open each item to see exactly what was found. Then tick what to remove and press "Download clean PDF".
The clean copy is rebuilt from the pages only, so old versions, orphaned data and attachments are left behind.
Free and private
Everything happens inside your browser: your files are read on your own device and are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone else.
Questions
What is a fake redaction?
A black rectangle drawn on top of text. It looks hidden, but the words are still in the file and can be copied or uncovered. Real redaction removes the text itself.
Can it guarantee my PDF is safe?
No tool can promise that. It finds the common problems - hidden metadata, comments, attachments, scripts, old versions and text under boxes - but read sensitive documents once more before sending.
Will the clean copy look the same?
Yes. Pages keep their look; only comments, attachments, scripts and metadata are removed. Pages with fake redactions become pictures, so their text can no longer be selected.
Is my document uploaded?
No. The check and the clean copy are made inside your browser.
Is it free?
Yes - free and unlimited, with no sign-up and no watermark.
